This Privacy Policy applies to Just SMS, our minimal Android SMS app for plain text messaging. Just SMS is currently being prepared for Google Play closed testing.

Internet and cloud use

Just SMS does not request internet permission. The app does not upload, sell, or share SMS messages. It does not provide cloud backup or cloud sync.

SMS permissions

SMS permissions are used only to send, receive, display, and manage SMS messages. Messages are read from and written to Android's local SMS provider.

Contacts permission

Contacts permission is used only to show contact names and choose recipients. Contact data is not uploaded or shared by Just SMS.

Notification permission

Notification permission is used only to show incoming SMS alerts.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

Just SMS has no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs.

Accounts and login

No account or login is required to use Just SMS.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Just SMS does not upload, sell, or share SMS messages.

Children's privacy

Just SMS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
